Recruitment process begins to find new Chief Executive

Laura Cohen has announced her decision to leave the British Ceramic Confederation after 13 years.It has always been her plan to leave the role at a time to coincide with her husband’s retirement. She wanted to stay to see the industry through the dramatic impact that the pandemic has had on all of us.Laura will be flexible about when she leaves next year, particularly with the challenges of the current energy crisis, and will work with her successor to ensure a smooth transition.Laura said: "I have really enjoyed this role and it has been a tremendous privilege to serve the sector, representing the industry and helping it through two enormous recessions and many other challenges."We are working with a specialist recruitment firm, Ellwood Atfield, to ensure objectivity and a rigorous approach.
