Another new member for the British Ceramic Confederation
The British Ceramic Confederation has welcomed another new member – the third this year – as CDS Group joins the trade body for the UK ceramic industry.
As a member, the company can benefit from the advice, information and support available from sector experts, covering topics such as health and safety, energy, emissions, planning, waste management, international trade, employment law and education and training, as well as the government and key stakeholder engagement and representation work of the trade body.
CDS Group has specialised in devising complete ceramic drying solutions for a range of organisations and remits since 1983 and has expanded into a global organisation. It enjoys numerous partnerships and corporate affiliations, and this year celebrates its 40th anniversary having broadened its portfolio across the fields of ceramic processing, sustainable energy development and concrete curing.
Neil Harrison, CDS Group Sales Director, said: “As a company in the ceramics industry, we recognised the importance of being part of a network that could offer us valuable support and resources.
“We believe that our membership of the British Ceramic Confederation will be instrumental in helping us to grow our business in a rapidly evolving industry.”
BCC Chief Executive Rob Flello said: “We look forward to working closely with CDS Group and supporting them with their business. Representing almost every UK ceramic business, the BCC’s collective voice continues to safeguard the interests of UK ceramic manufacturing.”
CDS Group employs more than 60 staff at its UK offices alone, which are based in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent.
